Rock Band 2 Annonced

It's no secret by now that the first Rock Band was a critical and commercial success, turning gamers into Rock Stars, living rooms into impromptu rock concerts in homes across the globe. Because of these huge successes, it should come as no surprise that a sequel, fittingly titled Rock Band 2, is on its way. What is surprising about this is that MTV Games and EA have announced that Rock Band 2 will appear this September, exclusively on the Xbox 360.

The good news continues to pour in as the press release confirms that entire catalog of downloadable content for the original Rock Band will work in Rock Band 2. In a move that should surprise no one, improvements have been made to the guitar and drum peripherals and the soundtrack is claimed to be the biggest and most diverse offering yet.

This certainly leaves Rock Band groupies a great deal to get excited over. Stay tuned for more news on this already much anticipated sequel to one of the best games released last year.
