Melba Moore rose to super-stardom in the early 1970s with the release of her debut album, “I Got Love,” which earned her a nomination for Best New Artist at the 1971 Grammy Awards. The following year, she also achieved success with a variety of television programs in which Clifton Davis appeared. The real-life marriage suffered from continual self-destruction, despite the show’s success in the modern day, and it was canceled. She too experienced a crisis when her career was over, and it took some time for her to recover.
