How Did Kyrie Irving Meet With Marlene Wilkerson?
Although Kyrie Irving and his wife Marlene Wilkerson may have known one another since high school, they made their first public appearance together in 2018. Before, Wilkerson dated basketball star Dexter Strickland, who played basketball at the same high school as Irving.

He played well for the Cavaliers the whole 2013–2014 campaign, which led to a sizable contract extension.
Irving had an especially successful 2014–2015 campaign, going on to record feats like 55 points against Portland. Nevertheless, he suffered a knee injury in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, ending his season.
Irving’s serious kneecap injury forced him to miss three to four months of action. In the end, the Cavaliers also lost in the championship game. Late in the 2015–2016 campaign, Irving made his comeback to the team, and he made an instant impression.

Regretfully, Irving had to miss 26 games due to yet another injury—this time a right shoulder problem. After making a quick comeback in 2020, Irving scored 54 points against the Chicago Bulls to almost soon regain his previous form.
But his injured shoulder needed surgery, so more injuries dogged the season. After he exercised his $37 million player option to rejoin the Nets for the 2022–2023 season, Irving demanded a trade. February 2023 saw the trade of him to the Dallas Mavericks.
