The body of 21-year-old Fernley, Nevada native Quincy Russell, was discovered on the University of Nevada, Reno campus on Thursday(4 May 2023) morning.
According to UNR, construction workers discovered Russell’s body on the northeast corner of the Quad at around 7 a.m.
The autopsy and toxicology results will be used by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the cause of de@th.
UNR President Brian Sandoval emailed faculty and students on Thursday, stating, “There is no indication of suspicious circumstances, and we have confirmed there was and is no threat to campus.”
